She loves sharing what she sees and feels through her paintings. Always exploring, her paintings may take her to countries and cultures around the world, to the varied splendors of the Oregon coast, or to revisit experiences past and present.
Creativity has always been a passion for Darlene. From childhood drawings in the sand and paintings using sandstone on hard granite on a seaside jetty, her lifelong journey has led to where she is now, painting her heart’s desire with oils or acrylics on canvas. She is also delighted with the added bonus of successfully challenging herself to an ever-deepening mastery of her craft.
