Armed with pencils, Wendy Thompson creates stunning works of art inspired by the natural world around her. From bugs to feathers and much more, the extraordinary detail in her drawings takes considerable time and patience. Wendy views her process as a meditative journey, her thoughts returning to the quiet places of the forest and ponds. She counts her artwork as a success if those viewing her work sense the quietude and tranquility that she felt in creating them.
