Painter

Lucynda Campbell began her painting career rather unexpectedly in 2010 when she found herself confined at home due to illness.  Determined to make the most out of her situation she began painting.  Because of her love for bold colors and detail, she quickly gained a commission based clientele.  She emerged with vibrant health, and a new zest for life.

She has been featured in the source magazine in Bend Oregon, and as had the opportunity to show her work in a variety of locations throughout Central Oregon including Brasada resort.  Her work has been displayed in the Historical Museum in Stevenson Washington and she has many happy clients throughout the United States. ​

“The efforts made toward these paintings come from a desire to pull from the inside the strength of things we often bypass.  Suffering from a health problem can rob a person from being able to share who they really are with the world, and is similar to a kind of prison. Painting is a way for me to pull the boldness out of myself, and put it onto a canvas, along with the subtle powers behind my subject.  I wish to bring the soul of all I paint out to the fore so the innermost parts of them will reach me and you.”…
